Proceeds will be donated to Foundry Langley via our partnership with Langley Memorial Hospital Foundation. Foundry is a province-wide network of integrated health and social service centres for young people ages12-24. Foundry centres provide a one-stop-shop for young people to access mental healthcare, substance use services, primary care, social services and youth and family peer supports.
Construction is underway for a Foundry Langley location, and is expected to be completed by June 2022. Proceeds from the Lending a Hand golf tournament will help ensure they have the resources needed to provide the best care possible at launch.
Foundry provides safe, non-judgmental care, information and resources, and work to reach young people earlier–before health challenges become problematic. They bring health and social services together in a single place to make it easier for young people to find the care, connection and support they need. Whether it’s solution-focused counselling, treatment for depression or for problematic substance use, a physical or mental health concern, connections to employment, or a need for supportive peers, young people accessing Foundry Langley will find outstanding, coordinated, timely resources necessary to thrive.
